Images and sounds from the 31st Annual Kamloopa Pow Wow held in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. The word Kamloops is the English translation of the Shuswap word Tk'emlúps, meaning 'where the rivers meet', and the event is held in an arena overlooking the Thompson River. The Kamloopa is one of the largest Pow Wow events in Canada. This is an amazing First Nations' cultural event with arts & crafts, storytelling, drumming contests, singing, and dancing. The dancers compete in various categories including Buckskin, Traditional, Chicken, Jingle, Grass, Fancy Feather & Fancy Shawl.
