If using a different brand of matches, measure length of cylinder container and mark on decorative. Then roll the container in the paper and make a cutting mark where the edges overlap a tiny bit. Cut the rectangle to the right size of the match container where the measured marks are. 2) Remove the lid from the matches. Measure the length from the top of the lid of the matches to the bottom of the lid. Replace lid on container. 3) Mark that measurement on the right side of the paper, use ruler and pencil to draw a straight line across width of paper. 4) Place several long strips of double-sided tape at one edge of wrong side of the paper. Make one long line of tape along edge of paper with a very small gap where line is marked on the right side. 5) Carefully wrap cylinder of matches with decorative paper, wrong side down so that double-sided tape adheres to the cylinder. Keep top and bottom edges of paper even with top and bottom edges of the cylinder. 6) On wrong side of paper, facing the match container, place another long line of double-stick tape, making small gap at line. 7) Gently stick the edge of the paper to the cylinder with a tiny overlap on the beginning edge of the paper. 8) Use craft knife to gently slice paper at pencil line where lid seam is located. Lid should be able to be pulled off the container at this point. Decorate the match container: Place decorative paper strips around matches, affix with double-sided tape. Use Japanese washi masking tape to make stripes. Place stickers on outside paper, or use rubber stamps to decorate outside paper. --- Wine Bottle Wrapping and Bow Tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gmc-XzCdYpI Enjoy! eventName: Special Event Handmade Gifts eventLiveDate: 11/17/11 talentName: Amanda Edwards segmenttypeID: 13
