These are quick edits from about four hours of total video I took from last year's Take Flight For Kids. I could not include clips of all contributors (there were so many). This 10 minute video is second of two clips edited for youtube. Take Flight For Kids was held at Reid Hillview airport to provide free airplane rides for children with special needs. Several pilots provided their time and aircraft to give these youngsters an experience they will never forget. This event also included lots of booths featuring hands-on arts, crafts, and science. This year will not have airplane rides, they couldn't get the insurance this year. However, it will be a big event at Reid Hillview airport on Saturday Sept 25. There will be TONS OF FUN at the biggest, most fun hands-on science, arts, do-it-yourself, FREE festival in Northern California. And they are seeking volunteers so visit their website and signup. Besides pilots, scientists, engineers, or educators, they can still use people to help with so many jobs. And of course financial help is needed as well.
