Jan 28, 2012 - I'm sorry Kristina, wasn't my intention show me as a person I am not. You're right, I didn't upload any video and certainly I'm not forming as a designer as you are but it doesn't mean i'm here to being rude with you or any other youtuber. That's not me. If the way I've wrote "sound" that way, I truly apologize. Languaje barriers (and bad translators) seems to cause misunderstood. I love your tecnique, and mostly of your work.

Jan 28, 2012 - I learn with you every week things I can't learn paying for. As I said before, even english. My first comment was "thinking aloud" what could I done to turn your ideas into something that makes ME love what I done. Also, here in Uruguay I can't find (or afford) even similar resources that you use, so I have to do what I can with your inspiration and the materials I have on hand.

Jan 28, 2012 - There is a thing I love to do and that is make people smile. That is one of the reasons why I try to learn how to craft things by myself. As you see in the news, world is turning bad and worst every day. I try to fight against that, adding my two cents, helping as I can in a little country with a lot of carencies. Have a nice weekend. Hugs from Uruguay! Claudia✿

Jan 28, 2012 - We all have our likes/dislikes & everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, it's important to remember that written word has no tone/expression so we should keep that in mind & choose our words carefully. Expressing what you do like over what you don't like & adding your design ideas would provide the creator & viewers with further inspiration without coming across negatively. Inspiration isn't found in the things we don't like in a project & ultimately have no positive value.

Jan 28, 2012 - Very very Beautiful keep up the great work I love all your videos I learn a lot from you Thank You for sharing your time and talent!

Paperista Says:

Jan 28, 2012 - Hmmm, I don't think you need to have attended design school to know good design, and we all have our own tastes, luckily or papercrafting would be boring! I just started making videos and it is MUCH harder than it looks, so huge credit from me. In addition, so many times I have a card swap to do and can't think of anything, so often your wonderful videos put me in the mood with inspiration. Frankly, I will always adore them! Hugs- April

Jan 28, 2012 - I'm not being defensive at all, actually. :) I just want people to really think about what they're saying before they post it.

starofmay Says:

Jan 28, 2012 - I totally understand where you're coming from, Claudia. No worries. I know you had only the best of intentions. :) In my previous response to you, I just wanted to note that not every person is open to criticism. Sometimes uninvited criticism--whether it's constructive or not--can be misconstrued as "rude," especially on the internet. It's a good reminder for all of us to be mindful of what we say. Again, no worries. :)

starofmay Says:

Jan 28, 2012 - Thanks, April! I hope you didn't think my comment about attending design school was about that... I was saying that because I went to design school I am used to critique. You just grow a thick skin. :)

217curious Says:

Jan 28, 2012 - @starofmay I hear ya about giving people feedback on comments. I'm sure you didn't intend to be defensive, but that's how it came across to me. I just feel bad for someone trying to provide an opinion and getting scolded. She even said she liked your stuff... just not this one. Anyway....

Jan 29, 2012 - Dear Kristina, I have been having some problems when i use my ruler and my bone folder. My ruler always seems to slide around and it messes up my scaring lines. Do you have any tips so i can fix this problem?

staariel8 Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - i can't make that cute bow): can someone please tell me how she did it? :D

Time2FlyAway Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - @s328169347 While working in the printing industry, I learned if you hold the ruler down onto the table by making sure at least one of your fingers holding the ruler is half on the table and half on the ruler. It will stablize the ruler and keep it from sliding. Hard to discribe without a picture.

KlareAquaTea Says:

Jan 30, 2012 - I adore this card and all of your cards! I go directly to you when I want to make a card :) hey also... Wheres MACM?

starofmay Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - You might try putting a tiny bit of adhesive on the underside of the ruler. Just be sure to take off some of the tackiness by putting in on a cloth something first. Then it won't slide but you can remove it from the cardstock after scoring.

starofmay Says:

Jan 31, 2012 - I'm out of town for work. Usually I update my blog, Twitter, or Facebook.

KlareAquaTea Says:

Feb 3, 2012 - Will you be able to make a Friday focus video and make MACM later (delayed video, already recorded)? Sorry for asking but I always look forward to your videos... I get really excited when I see a new video from you in my subscriptions :) also a question- will you make other card videos beside MACM and Friday Focus soon? Thanks ❤

msmartinigirl1 Says:

Feb 5, 2012 - Where do you get a silhouette cutting machine from?

starofmay Says:

Feb 7, 2012 - There are many places online that sell it. I would suggest doing a google search for "silhouette cameo machine".
